Our Glass Department hasn't had a new van in at least 8 or 9 years.

They show up every day, work hard, and take care of our customers in all kinds of Vermont weather, so this one was overdue. Long time coming and well earned.

Today they got the keys to a brand new high roof Ford Transit 350 AWD, fully fit out and ready to roll. We haven’t named her yet but She's a big girl.

Three generations in and we still believe the crew doing the work deserves the right tools to do it.

Walk around video below if you want to see how she's set up inside. My favorite part is the interior slide out rack

Thanks to the whole Glass crew for everything you do

Our Glass Department just wrapped up one of our favorite installs of the year. 🏆

We partnered with Naylor & Breen Contractors on this custom frameless glass railing system, and the result speaks for itself. Floor-mounted tempered glass panels set into a continuous aluminum base channel, topped with a brushed stainless steel cap rail, clean, modern, and built to last. The stairwell handrails are a matching brushed stainless, carrying the same design language all the way down to the marble treads below.

What makes this one special isn't just the craftsmanship, it's how the glass disappears into the space. The white oak floors, cedar plank ceiling, and the marble staircase all get to breathe. Nothing competes. The railing does its job structurally and then gets completely out of the way visually.

Frameless glass railings like this use tempered safety glass, typically 1/2" thick, which is up to five times stronger than standard glass and engineered to crumble safely rather than shatter if ever impacted. These systems meet or exceed all IBC and Vermont residential and commercial building code requirements for guardrail height and load resistance.

This is what our Glass Department does. If you're a contractor, architect, or homeowner with a project that calls for something like this, we'd love to talk.

Thank you, Rutland ❤️

Together, over the two Gill’s Grinder fundraiser days, we raised $4,000 for Team Fox and Parkinson’s research.

Thank you to Gill’s Delicatessen, the local businesses that placed large orders, and everyone in the community who stopped in to support the cause.

This fundraiser was especially meaningful to our family as Montana prepares to run the NYC Marathon with Team Fox in honor of our dad, Lee Accavallo.

We truly appreciate the support. Vermont is a special place. ❤️

Vermont winters are long. So when the green comes back and the sun shows up, we don't take it for granted.

Feeling pretty lucky to live and work in a place like this. There's a lot going on in the world right now. Its easy to forget how good we've got it here.

Happy spring, Vermont. 🌱

Last week, Graham Deutl and I had the opportunity to travel to Lund, Sweden and visit the global headquarters of AXIS Communications as part of the Northeast Directors Council Annual Meeting.
We were incredibly honored to be invited and humbled to spend several days alongside other select AXIS Gold Level dealers from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.

Over the course of three packed days, we had the opportunity to meet with software and hardware engineers, R&D teams, product specialists, and even the CEO of AXIS. We toured their impressive Experience Center, testing labs, development facilities, and learned a tremendous amount about the future of security technology, analytics, audio, access control, and cloud solutions.

One thing that stood out throughout the trip was the culture at AXIS — innovation, professionalism, and a true focus on quality. It was inspiring to see firsthand the amount of engineering, testing, and thought that goes into the products and solutions we deploy for our customers here in Vermont.

We’re grateful for the experience, the relationships, and the opportunity to continue learning and growing alongside some of the best in the industry.

A huge thank you to AXIS Communications and the Northeast Directors Council for the hospitality and invitation!

WOW 🥹🤩🙌 thanks to the incredible support from the Rutland community, Gill’s Grinders, and everyone who purchased grinders on May 6th, we were able to raise $2,000 going directly toward Montana Accavallos Team Fox fundraiser for the Michael J. Fox Foundation and Parkinson’s research! ❤️

We are truly humbled by the support and look forward to seeing everyone again this coming Wednesday, May 13th for round two. Let’s see what kind of turnout we can get this week!

Thank you again to Gill’s Grinders and the Rutland Community for partnering with us on such a meaningful cause and to everyone who helped spread the word, place orders, and support Parkinson’s research.

GO MONTANA! 💙 🏃‍♀️‍➡️🏃‍♀️‍➡️🏃‍♀️‍➡️🌞

Just picked up this 1956 Ford F-250 for the Royal Group team.

Its not your typical work truck .... more of a Royal community/Team truck for anyone on the crew to grab for design & job site visits, parts runs, or even a quick lunch.

We figured we’d have a little fun with it! We threw on a vintage-style magnet from Awesome Graphics to run it through the Spring/Summer/Fall while we decide what to do next.

Kind of torn…
Keep the patina and history, or restore it back to gloss black to match the fleet? 🤔

Either way, it’s pretty cool & fun to put something like this back to use!

Built in ’56. Back to work in ’26! 🔧

What would you do?? Keep the Patina? Or restore it over the winter to a new gloss black? Comment below ⬇️ I'd love to hear from you!
