“Nestled”- watercolor painting- 9x12 on Arches cold press
The image I worked with for this one has a fun little back story…
I surprisingly found these sweet little eggs in a holly bush in my yard a few springs ago. Curious if there were eggs in the nest, I took my camera and lifted it up above it, hovered my camera over for a moment, attempting to capture the potentially nestled eggs. I wanted to find out. And there they were😊🥚🥚🥚
This painting had so many many little lines- ahh- Tough yet felt good to “stick with it”…🧐😉

I’ve been captured by the Walk for Peace, as I’m sure many of you have. To me, meditation is a daily practice and I find it provides me much comfort in a world where we can be bombarded by too many disturbing headlines. The message they are bringing to seek peace from within couldn’t be more appropriate.
