1. Buy storage before decluttering.
Bins can’t fix a space that’s full of things you don’t use.
2. Organize things you don’t actually use.
If you don’t need it, it doesn’t need a designated home.
3. Force a system that doesn’t fit your lifestyle.
Your organization should work for you, not the other way around.
4. Keep something just because it was expensive.
The money has already been spent. Keeping it won’t get it back.
5. Try to organize an entire home in one day.
