What a transformation!

This vintage cedar chest started out as a beautiful dark wood storage trunk and was completely reimagined into a romantic cottage-inspired statement piece.

Featuring:

I love taking forgotten furniture and giving it a whole new personality, and this one turned out absolutely gorgeous. It would be perfect as a blanket chest, hope chest, coffee table, or accent piece in a bedroom, living room, or entryway.

🌸 New Furniture Pieces Coming Soon to The Glam It Up Shack! 🌸

I’ve been busy creating and have several beautiful new furniture pieces headed to my booth at Mountain State Merchant Mall very soon! I’m down to just ONE more piece to complete before they’re ready for their new homes.

I also have to share my latest obsession… Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint in Drop Cloth! 🤍 It has officially become my new favorite color. The soft, warm, timeless neutral works beautifully with farmhouse, cottage, shabby chic, and upscale vintage styles. It’s the perfect backdrop for transfers, decoupage, or a classic painted finish.

Current project… Work in progress, but I think this hall tree is going to be absolutely gorgeous when I get it finished. I am using a new technique, lots of Dixie Belle paint colors, decoupage, and stencils. I will post the end result when I get it finished with a list of colors and items used all which can be found in my booth.
