Any day you get to meet someone who influences your art is a good day… a GREAT DAY when that person is as the incomparable and gracious Sarah Ross-Thompson. Sarah took time out of her day to welcome Deb and I into her home and studio in beautiful Portpatrick, Scotland. She shared some methods and tips that will help me develop my collagraph prints and printmaking in general. We added wonderful print, and a book by Patrick Ross (with art by Sarah). We also went on a nice coastal trail hike to a 16th century castle ruin and views of Ireland and the Isle of Man. Excellent day!

Looking for a nice holiday gift? How about handmade art this year? This Seahorse Santa print will be joined by a few more new designs to go along with four holiday cards from last year. Carving linoleum, especially when you have to be careful not to nick a line, can be a tedious process. Once all the space between these flowers is cleared, this project will move along much faster.
