My latest spotted Ray. Carved from a slab of butcher block. The eyes are the agitators inside the rustoleum clear coat spray paint cans. The shoes are a combination of burned (black parts) with acrylic paint. The tail was pulled from a washing machine. It was one of 4 stabilizer rods. Whatcha think?

Here's a clip of how I do the detail engraving on my pieces. My brain still thinks I'm right handed so holding the engraving pen in my left hand ends badly. I figured out that I have to put it in my right and guide it with my left. Life is weird when you cannot feel your hands. Just maintaining grip takes constant focus. Every detail is a focused thought. Lose focus for a split second and I could ruin it.
