What an amazing day at the Datil Pepper Festival yesterday! We had a blast sharing our spicy-sweet creations with everyone — from Datil-infused fudge to our signature mini cakes and dipped Oreos. Seeing your smiles (and a few surprised “whoa, that’s spicy!” reactions) made it all worth it!

Ever wrestled with a stubborn planer and lived to tell the tale? 😅

We’re wrapping up this epoxy end table and let’s just say... the curly grain had other plans. Between glue scraping (weirdly satisfying) and a planer that thinks it’s a powerlifter, this shelf gave us a workout—but she’s looking GOOD now. 💪✨

We just picked up some beautiful new wood slabs and are excited to turn them into something special! 🙌 Each slab has its own unique look and character — perfect for custom tables, shelves, charcuterie boards, and more. 🪵

In this video, we’re also talking about fungus! Yep, you read that right — fungus is nature’s little helper that creates some of the most stunning patterns in wood, like the pockets in pecky cypress and the wild lines in spalted maple. It’s one of the coolest parts of woodworking, and we’re here for it! 🍄

We’re back in the shop and working on a custom shelf for our epoxy river end table. In this video, it’s all about cutting and glue-up — sounds simple, right? Well… our bandsaw had other plans. 😅

Let’s just say one curve turned into a detour, but with a little creativity (and a lot of clamping), we made it work 💪. Sometimes the best part of woodworking isn’t the perfect cut — it’s how you bounce back when things don’t go as planned.

Over a year ago (we’re just now getting around to sharing this 😅), we crafted one of our all-time favorite wedding gifts for two of our amazing friends! 😍

We teamed up with some epoxy magic to create custom coasters and a charcuterie board that are just as unique and beautiful as their love story. 💕

Here’s the coolest part: the two epoxy colors in these pieces are each of their favorite colors. We merged them together in the design to symbolize how they’re coming together as one — blending styles, lives, and now, their snack game.💍

From rich wood grain to glossy epoxy swirls, this gift was made with love, laughter, and a little bit of sawdust. 🪵💫

Honestly, we kinda wanted to keep it for ourselves... but friendship won. 😆

It’s been a full week of drying, and now it’s time for the big moment—getting this epoxy end table out of the mold and surfaced for finishing! 🙌

Careful prying, a little patience, and some woodworking magic later, and we’re revealing the beauty beneath. The epoxy and wood are already showing off, but after surfacing? That’s when the real character shines!
