Something special is happening at Industrial Treasures this Saturday during the St. Charles Fine Art Show.
Tom Herzberg paints live, 1β5PM.
Chicago illustrator, 16 years teaching at the American Academy of Art, thousands of commissions including Pl***oy and the Chicago Tribune.
He arrives with a concept in mind and the watercolor begins in front of whoever gathers around the drafting board. Conversation flows while the work takes shape. Free. Open to everyone.
Also debuting this weekend:
Three large original paintings by Carl Hayano, a Japanese-American artist whose work was exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago four times and has been in storage since 1988. These are originals, available as a collection.
A spectacular neon piece by Ellen Sandor, a Chicago-based multimedia artist who has spent decades working at the intersection of art, science, and technology, and has been a significant contributor to Chicago's art community. Sandor served as former Artist in Residence at Fermilab. The piece came from a Chicago trading firm where it hung for years and is making its debut at Industrial Treasures this weekend.
Come during the Fine Art Show and make a full day of it in St. Charles.
