Hi, we’re Julie + Larissa! 👋🏻
We’re the mother-daughter duo who started Plum Di**le! We’ve had a big group of new friends join us lately, so we thought it was probably time we introduced ourselves again. 💕
Julie: “Crafting and creating changes lives. It gives people purpose, it gives people satisfaction, and it helps direct them towards other successes in life. I feel so fortunate to be able to witness this in many many lives as I’ve taught people to craft. One of my most meaningful teaching moments was with a woman who had a tragic incident that took away her mobility almost entirely and devastated her emotionally. Teaching her some crafting skills not only helped rebuild her self worth but also gave her courage to keep trying, as she rehabilitated to the point she could again do some of the things she once loved. Crafting has changed my life, and it can change yours too.”
Larissa: “I love helping people realize they’re more creative than they think they are. There’s something really addictive about seeing the look on someone’s face when they make something that they can be proud of! It’s pretty magical, and I feel so lucky that I get to experience that magic over and over again. I often challenge my students to share their new crafting knowledge with someone in their life, and I love hearing the stories from the people that do! I’m so happy when other people get to experience that “magic moment” too.”
We started Plum Di**le because we love making things together! Somehow, six years later, we get to make things and help other people discover how much they love it too.
