One of the biggest window-covering trends continuing into 2023 is the use of natural materials, textures, and colors. This is largely due to the sense of warmth and character these types of textiles bring into a design. Roller shades with organic cotton or linen fabrics, as well as textured woven wood roman shades, continue to be popular choices.

Instead of the white shades that were popular last season, this year’s trending colors include various shades of beige and Ivory. Pair these neutral shades alongside light and dusty hues like soothing blues or powder peach to compliment the natural color and texture pallet.

The Blindman of St George is now hiring for a Window Covering Installation Technician!

Starting pay is $18 to $21 depending on previous experience (preference for previous framing and window construction, priority toward previous shutter and blind Installation experience) however due to the specific nature of this industry we will train the right candidate who learns quickly and can retain several slightly different product requirements which may not be seen on a daily basis. For this position you must be at least 21 years of age to qualify for the fleet insurance and you must be able to provide a clean DMV motor vehicle report if offered a position.

We offer several benefits such as Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, and year end bonuses as well as medical insurance and company provided tools. Our average installers make between $22 and $26 per hour.
Shifts are typically from 8am to 4pm however some days can go a little longer. Overtime is available and sometimes can be scheduled but will always be informed of prior to it happening.

Your days will always be a little different with several locations we serve the greater Southern Utah area as well as Mesquite Nevada and some areas of Arizona and you're always on the clock for your travel time.
