I went through menopause at 48. At 68 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. That was just before Christmas that year. On the following January 20th I had a left breast total mastectomy with reconstructive surgery. This past May I was diagnosed cancer free. Little does anyone know what goes on with a person who doesn’t go through chemo. I had been on a “cancer pill” for the 5 years. I the last year I was taking these pills I went into a second menopause that was AND is 1000x’s worse. I can’t get cool. I change my clothes every other hour. I can’t go out cuz I’m constantly wiping myself down with tissues. I saw my Oncologist this past week. I now have graduated to appointments that are yearly. Asked what to do about my problems with menopause this time. He said “I don’t know when it’ll end “. What about help???!
I’m at my wits end! I can’t take this anymore! For crying out loud!!! I’m 74 years old! Can’t I live the few more years that I have without this????
Oh, yeah. I also had my stomach removed in 2004. Food now makes me sick.
I just broke my ankle in May. Re-injured it 3 weeks ago when my flip flop got caught under the door out to the garage. Went flying into our car and then really hard onto the concrete floor. Injured my knee, my elbow and my hand. Broke my glasses as I double hit my face right onto the concrete. Have had a black eye and swollen side of face for 3 weeks.
Haven’t I been through ENOUGH????
