We think there's something so special about a home that still tells the story of where it began. When we renovate, we’re always looking for the details worth holding onto, the old millwork, an original archway, a beautiful window, the little imperfections that give a house its soul. Pairing those pieces with updated fixtures is what creates a home that feels layered, collected, and lived in, rather than brand new.

Because the best renovations don’t erase the past. They make room for the next chapter. 🤎

**“Your home has been giving you clues about what isn’t working. You just have to know what to look for. 👇”**

Hi, I’m Chrissi, designer here at Homestyle, where we help homeowners **turn the little things that aren’t working into thoughtful spaces designed around the way they actually live.**

Because good design starts long before we pick a paint color, countertop, or sofa.

I want to know how you **actually live** in your home.

Where do you drop your keys when you walk in?

Where does the dog sleep—even though you swore he wasn’t getting on the furniture? 😂

Which cabinet drives you crazy every morning?

Where does everyone naturally gather?

What do you walk around, move, adjust, or complain about every single day?

These seem like tiny things. But they’re **patterns**—and those patterns tell me so much about what your home needs.

You may have gotten so used to them that you don’t even realize **there could be a better way.**

That’s one of my favorite parts of being a designer.

I’m not just asking, **“What do you want your home to look like?”**

I’m asking:

**“How do you want your home to work for the way you actually live?”**

Because a beautiful home is great.

**A beautiful home that makes your everyday life easier? That’s good design.**

So start paying attention to those little frustrations. The things you’ve worked around. The things you’ve told yourself are *fine.*

**Your home might already be telling you exactly what needs to change.**

Tell me 👇 **What’s ONE tiny thing about your home that drives you crazy every day?**

Your home should feel like you, just a little more pulled together.

Whether you’re building, renovating, or looking around thinking, “I know this room needs something, but I have no idea where to start,” that’s where we come in.

At Homestyle Collective, we help take the ideas in your head (and all those saved inspiration photos!) and turn them into a home that feels warm, personal, and made for the way you actually live.

If you’re in Saint Jo or the surrounding North Texas area, we’d love to get to know you and your home. 🤎

Building a home is exciting. It’s also approximately 847 decisions.

Our full-service design clients bring us in early so we can help make those decisions thoughtfully - from layouts and finishes to paint colors, lighting, cabinetry, furnishings, and all the little details that make the whole house come together.

We work alongside your builder and trades, keep an eye on the big picture, and help make sure every choice feels connected.

You get to enjoy watching your home come to life without carrying every decision yourself.

Sometimes you don’t need a new house. You just need to make the house you already love work a whole lot better.

A renovation can completely change the way a home looks, feels, and functions - but there are a lot of decisions hiding between “let’s redo the kitchen” and the finished space.

We help our North Texas clients sort through layouts, cabinetry, countertops, tile, lighting, hardware, paint and all those details that can quickly become overwhelming.

The goal? A refreshed home that still feels like your home - only better.

A beautiful home doesn’t have to look like everything arrived on the same delivery truck.

In fact, we’d rather it didn’t.

We love mixing new furnishings with vintage finds, family pieces, great textiles, art, lighting, and the things you’ve collected along the way. Those layers are what give a home warmth, character, and a story.

If your rooms are almost there but never quite feel finished, furnishing and styling may be exactly the kind of help you need.

The best compliment we can get isn’t, “This looks like a designer did it.”
It’s, “This feels so much like us.”

Hi! 👋 I’m Chrissi, designer here at Homestyle Collective 🤍

What I Know for Sure…

After helping homeowners save **thousands of dollars**

**Everything costs more as an afterthought.** 💸

The sofa you ordered before measuring the room… only to realize it doesn’t fit. 🛋️😩

The fabric you chose from a tiny swatch… that looks completely wrong once it’s in your home. 🎨🤦‍♀️

The tile you thought you could “decide on later.” 🏡

The lighting you wanted over the bookshelf only to figure out there was no electrical placement installed before drywall. 💡

The rug that’s the wrong size because the furniture was ordered first. 🪑

The window treatments you didn’t realize you needed until the room was almost finished. 🪟

These aren’t just design mistakes.

**They’re expensive mistakes.** 💰

Good design isn’t about spending more.
It’s about **thinking ahead.** ✨

When we help homeowners plan the entire space before making purchases or starting construction, we’re looking at how every decision works together—**dimensions, scale, color, fabric, function, and budget.**

Because the goal isn’t to help you spend more.

**It’s to help you spend your money wisely the first time.** 🤍

After all, replacing a sofa that doesn’t fit is a lot more expensive than getting the plan right before you order it. 🛋️💸

**What I know for sure?** The best money you can spend is often the money you spend **BEFORE you start.** ✨

Save this for your next renovation or furnishing project! 📌

A blank empty space is about to become one of this construction office’s hardest-working areas in the building.

🥃 Speakeasy-inspired lounge.
⛳ Golf simulator.

Because the best spaces don’t have just one purpose, they evolve with the people who use them.

Follow along as we transform this empty canvas into a functional, inviting flex space that’s equal parts productivity and play.

Whether you’re designing a commercial office, renovating a workspace, or creating a custom flex space, thoughtful interior design can transform the way a business operates. This project combines a functional construction office with a custom golf simulator room and speakeasy-inspired lounge, creating a multi-purpose environment that supports productivity, collaboration, client meetings, and after-hours entertaining. At Homestyle Collective, we believe every commercial interior should be as hardworking as the people who use it - beautifully designed, highly functional, and tailored to the way your business works.

The secret to a beautiful kitchen isn't more decor, it's intentional styling. When styling kitchen counters and shelves, we focus on creating layers that feel both functional and collected. Think everyday essentials mixed with pieces that tell a story: a favorite cookbook, a vintage vessel, a woven basket, or a small piece of art that brings personality to the space.

Our favorite formula:
- Something practical (utensils, oils, serving pieces)
- Something organic (wood, wicker, greenery)
- Something personal (art, collected objects, heirlooms)
- A little breathing room

The goal isn't to fill every surface, it's to create moments that feel thoughtful, lived-in, and uniquely yours.

Because the most inviting kitchens are the ones that look beautiful and work beautifully for everyday life.

Behind every beautiful room is hundreds of thoughtful decisions. When people see the finished space, they notice the fabrics, the colors, and the furnishings. What they don't always see is the process behind it all, the hours spent comparing paint colors, layering textures, reviewing tile options, selecting fabrics, and making sure every detail works together seamlessly.

A design plan isn't created from a single sample. It's built piece by piece, with careful consideration of how each material, finish, and color will complement the next.

This stage is one of our favorites. It's where ideas begin to take shape, and where a home's story starts to unfold through thoughtfully selected details.

Because great design isn't just about choosing beautiful things - it's about choosing the right things, all working together to create a home that feels collected, intentional, and uniquely yours.
