Floors & Kitchens is looking for a friendly, hardworking and dependable office assistant. This is a fast paced business with multiple jobs going at once and requires someone with the ability to multi-task. The duties include: answering phones, typing proposals, placing material orders, checking in deliveries, having an understanding of interior house design and color selections to guide customers in selecting materials for their remodel projects or new home construction. Ability to take good notes to relay to others & build rapport with clients. Computer literacy; including Microsoft Office Word and the ability to download, save, and upload files.
Knowledge in home remodeling/construction and/or customer sales is preferred.
Beginning salary is based on experience with room to advance.
Work schedule would be Monday- Friday 9am-4pm.

***An Update from us on COVID-19***
Dear valued Floors & Kitchens Ltd customer,
Governor Eric Holcomb issues “stay at home order” for the state if Indiana.
At this time the order is in effect from March 25 to April 7.
Our Showroom will be closed to the public. Limited appointments may be available.
We want to inform you what we are doing given the continuing spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the many changes we are all experiencing.
We want to assure you that we are taking all necessary virus-related precautions and adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations while also working very hard to continue to meet your business needs during this difficult time.
With conditions constantly changing, we make decisions daily to ensure the health of our people and customers while balancing that with taking care of our customers’ needs.
The information below is subject to change. Things are fluid and may shift and change over the next few days and weeks
Whatever happens we will strive to serve you as best we can and we keep you advised. We are in this together.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic,
our showroom will be limiting number of customers allowed in our showroom. We ask that, if possible, you call ahead and make an appointment. Samples and showroom will be disinfected after each appointment and/or customer visit for everyone’s safety.
