The balloons are up! 🎈

This year marks:
• 25 years of framing on Railroad Street
• 15 years of The Frame Dames

That’s a whole lot of art, shadowboxes, jerseys, needlework, concert posters, odd treasures, unusual requests, moving trucks, shop dogs, late nights, and conversations with customers who became friends.

The Frame Dames are saddened to hear of the passing of our friend James. He was a wonderfully creative soul and a delight to know. Our thoughts are with Clarence and all who loved him.

James Marshall Frase-White, age 78, of Railroad Street, St. Johnsbury, Vt., passed at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., Monday, March 2, 2026.

Switching things up for the holidays this year, staying open a little later for all the folks who work 9 to 5 ❤ Plus, a reminder that this years cut-off date for framing orders is the 17th!! After that, we'll be turning out orders as quickly as we can to get them to you before the 25th. We're then taking some time off to reset before the new year, then back to regular schedule on January 2nd.

We were so honored to help Good Shepherd Catholic School with this very special project!
The school was gifted an incredible stained glass alphabet collection, Catholic themed of course 😇
We had the privilege of helping bring it to life in their giant stairwell windows. The finished display is nothing short of stunning, and the best part? You can see it shining from Cherry Street the next time you go by.

Downtown briefly turned into a fire-themed block party. 🔥🚒
Massive shoutout to the literal army of firemen and firewomen who descended on our little downtown like superheroes with hoses. We're talking fire departments from everywhere – if your town has a name, someone probably showed up from there. EMS, police, the town manager (in emotionally supportive khakis), and even a Select Board member (in business casual) were on the scene.
Two businesses were affected (we love you, stay strong ❤️), and several residents were displaced – including one very adorable kitty who calmly held court in the shop (that we can’t believe we didn’t get a picture of!).
Jokes aside: we are so lucky to have so many brave people who literally ran into a burning building to protect our community. Seriously – THANK YOU to every responder who showed up, suited up, and cooled things down. You’re legends.
Stay safe, stay grateful, and hug a fireman if they’ll let you. ❤️👨‍🚒🐱
