Hi everyone, sorry for my long absense! This year has been tough so far and Ive not had the chance to do any art; and, much of my supplies and finished product was either lost or damged in two separate incidents.

On Feb 3, my car was stolen and then destroyed after a high speed police chase (some of my finished product was lost this way). Then, 8 days later on Feb 11, my family's house was destroyed in a fire. While that home is not where my bed is personally, it's where the rest of my family in Minnesota lives and where I spend half my time, and where a large amount of my supplies were being stored for the off season.

But besides that, I feel the loss of the home deeply too. Both personally and for each family member, in addition to the changes in routine, dynamics and a sense of safety.

As far as my car is concerned, I am at the point where I need to secure a new vehicle. But I’m not yet in a place whre i can afford one.

My sister started a GoFundMe for me (just days before she lost her home). I’m sharing it here as I can use all the financial support I can get. It truly is hard for me to be this vulnerable but these circumstances have left me with no choice. I also know this is a hard time for so many others, so I appreciate your support, either financially or by sharing this as widely as possible. I’m also open to feedback on ways to share this message in a more condensed or succinct way. Looking forward to joining Tamarack Room for my 3rd year at this exciting event! I’m focusing on my DIY ornaments you can fill with tiny trinkets and beautiful rocks and gems. I’ll also have some 3d printed fidgets, MN shadowboxes / sun catchers (premade and diy), “mini”sota magnets and new this year, button magnets made from recycled paintings, photos, fabric and more. I’m looking forward to seeing you on Saturday at the Tamarack Room!!

Come visit me for this first time this season at the Hamline Church United Methodist Holiday Market taking place tomorrow, November 23 from 9:30am - 3:30pm at 1514 Englewood Ave in St Paul.
