Almost a year ago now we celebrated our wedding with our closest friends & family, and now I’m blessed to help another couple to do the same. (Piper says she’s blessed to help with the paper remnants.) Such a full circle moment! Nothing is random, ever!!

I’ve had a lot of folks ask “what’s next?” for Happy Avocado Antiques. Well, I’m currently moving all of my inventory into a 10x35 climate controlled storage unit near my home while I wait for the right space to manifest. I will set it up as cutely as I can so it continues to be a workable space that inspires me. I have had more sales and local pickups in the last two weeks than I ever expected - so thank you very much! I will continue to post items on my website and Marketplace, connecting incredible treasures with their people… the ones who revere character and history. I will relish date nights (and days) with my husband, chauffeuring and reading to my kids, snuggling with our zoo of animals, and cleaning and organizing beautiful homes for my wonderful clients. We are looking to buy an old home with some land somewhere along the Mississippi River, and daydreams of that eventuality will continue to be my happy place as I let the universe stretch and guide me in this business. Whoa this week was slow. My guess is everyone is at the fair and not antique shopping. 😉 So I decided to play around with some color groupings over in back half of the shop. What do you think, should I keep going and make a full rainbow? 🌈
