Today is the perfect day to remind everyone to check your basements frequently during heavy rainfall days. We are usually flooded with calls during this time of year for rainfall that made its way into basements and got the carpet wet.

These repairs can be taken care of with minimum cost if its caught quickly. The longer that carpet sits wet, the harder it is to save. Here's some tips on what to do:

1. Dry the area the best you can with towels.

2. Get some fans to dry the area

3. Call Mike the Carpet Guy to have him come remove the damaged/wet padding, replace with new padding and reinstall the existing carpet.

10 years ago, I started off on a business venture not knowing if it would succeed or fail. But I took the leap. I started off being a 1-man show, operating out of the garage of my house doing all the estimates, installs, paperwork and everything in-between to make the business thrive. And now, we have a showroom with multiple installation crews, warehouse and office workers. We've grown in revenue every year and continue to provide the best services and prices for the entire Twin Cities area!
