House studio is fun. You can make random Christmas trees in the kitchen between meals. Currently making work for in April!

First day working in my temporary studio at home as we rebuild from the fire. Two of my favorite things to throw are Christmas trees and pumpkins - so obviously throwing one today. Feels good to be hands on clay, even if the setup is weird and I am wedging on the kitchen counter. It’s a blessing to have a space to work.

Tomorrow is Localtopia. One of my favorite days of the year. This year for me looks a little different.i have a lot less inventory it I will be there!

The city’s largest community celebration, Localtopia, returns this Saturday at Williams Park for its 13th year.

While these things are still happening at my house, tonight we paint, congregate, and drink 5-10 for our rebuilding fundraiser. We have raffles, music, hugs. Hope to see you there!!

This has been so surreal, I have reached the point where the adrenaline has gone and I’m a puddle of emotions. is one week away and I can’t force myself to make. I shall be there, limited inventory and bruised heart. Ready for all the hugs.

I have never cried as much as I have since Wednesday morning. However, I have laughed hard as well. Today, I am sooo eternally grateful for literally all of St Pete and beyond. I have been so well loved and served by this community. And I can never thank everyone enough. We are just beginning this wild journey to the “new” and as it begins I remember why I do this, yes for the art and the clay but really for the community. All my love.
