Senior Designer Lori Harden of Pierce & Parker Interiors finds the perfect shade of Green 🌿 for The Duffy Residence at Frederica on St. Simons Island.

Harden credits her grandmother and mother for instilling her love for interiors.

“My grandmother and mother had such a sense of design. I can remember going to the furniture store at Rich’s in Atlanta with them when I was a young girl and just being fascinated,” she shares.

Light-filled vistas define Coastal Comfort at the Duffy Residence, Frederica. A second home—the owners live in Iowa—the Duffys wanted their Frederica residence on St. Simons Island to be comfortable and inviting with durable fabrics as they have children and grandchildren—and the wife loves color!

“The Duffys were so easy to work with,” shares Senior Designer Lori Harden of Pierce & Parker Interiors. “They were just a delight.”

Color in the Gathering Spaces | Soft Coastal Tones in the Personal Spaces.

Working in collaboration, Lori chose brighter colors for the common areas where the family gathers and softer tones for the personal spaces, including an office for him. For the couple’s bedroom, they went with a coastal feel.

Natural light from three big window walls in the dining room showcase views of the garden and pool beyond. A screened porch with fireplace adds to the indoor-outdoor living feel.

a small step up from flowers 🤍

we’re so excited to share our collaboration with for mother’s day this year. we partnered with one of our favorite local, family-run businesses known for their small-batch, handmade caramels (they’re dangerously good).

each ready-to-gift set includes a collection of their artisan sweets, including citrus coconut chocolates and sea salt caramels, paired with a ceramic cachepot she’ll keep long after.

we created a limited number of these, and they’re already going quickly. available in-store this week for the mother’s day gift you’ve been looking for.
