styling sessions for the home + office

It was a case of serendipity when Allie and Ben met in art history class at Texas State University in 2003, they both shared a deep love and appreciation for art and design……..and eventually each other. They married in Salado in 2008 and began living their dream….and as they say, the rest is history! After exploring retail sales with a focus on interior furnishings and art, they moved back to Alli

e’s hometown of Belton, Texas. With Allie’s intuition and eye for design and Ben’s artistic ability and knack for building everything and anything, they have created their own sweet spot as a design duo. For nearly a decade they have cultivated a unique design business that ranges broadly from custom painted furniture to fashion and food truck design and builds. Throw in commercial brick and mortar design and over 750 restyle sessions for the home, it would be an understatement to say that they’re living their best lives and helping others do the same, one room at a time! Allie and Ben specialize in everything from single-day restyle sessions to large-scale design projects. They focus on the space as a whole and work diligently to incorporate the client’s lifestyle and sentimental objects while breathing new life into the space. Allie and Ben live in the little Village of Salado, Texas with their children, Indiana, Apple, and Lief. They love Jesus, their community and creating a life full of color.

SIGHT LINES MATTER. 👀✨

What’s the first thing you see when you walk into a room?

Because whether you realize it or not, that first view sets the tone for the entire space.

BEFORE → the sight line landed directly on a large television. Functional? Absolutely. Inviting? Not exactly.

AFTER → we simply rethought the furniture placement and turned that same bay of windows into a sweet little moment. A vintage chaise, layered textiles, beautiful art, soft curtains, greenery and a little ambient light now greet you when you enter.

The TV is still there. We didn’t eliminate function—we just stopped letting it be the star of the room.

Good design isn’t always about buying more or changing everything. Sometimes it’s about looking at what you already have differently.

Your eye should land somewhere beautiful.

And THAT is the power of a good sight line. 🤍

ONE. DAY. 🤯

Yep. This entire bedroom transformation happened in a single day.

We met our clients at 9:00 AM, spent about 30–45 minutes walking the space, talking through what wasn’t working, what they already owned, and where we wanted to take it.

Then Ben and I hit the ground running.

We shopped. We sourced. We hauled. We installed. We styled.

A new rug. New bedding. Layers of pillows and textiles. Curtains. Art. Lighting. Accessories. We hung the TV. Reworked pieces they already owned. And somewhere in the middle of all of that, we found the most incredible vintage chaise on Facebook Marketplace, met the seller, loaded it up, brought it back and gave it a whole new life in that beautiful window nook.

By the end of the day, they had a completely different bedroom.

And THIS is why we love our styling sessions.

You don’t always need months of design meetings, a house full of brand-new furniture, or a massive renovation. Sometimes you need the right eyes, a little creativity, a truck, a very fast-moving husband-and-wife team 😂… and one really productive day.

We take what you have, figure out what’s missing, and pull it all together into a home that feels collected, layered and completely YOU.

Morning ➡️ evening.
Same room. Same day. Whole different feeling.

That’s the GDG magic. ✨

A super cool acrylic painting by Allie's dad, C.R. HEBERT, “Chief takes a smoke break” has been hanging around with us for a bit. It's from way back in 1989. And, if our house was on fire burning this would be the one piece I would grab, for sure.

A ROOM FOR WHEN HE COMES HOME. 💚

One of our favorite things? Repeat clients. And getting invited back to keep adding another layer to their home.

This time, we tackled her son’s room—the space waiting for him whenever he comes home to visit.

The furniture was already there, but the room needed some personality.

Ben + Abi created this graphic green feature wall, meticulously mapping out every single line of that grid (and YES…it is as perfectly measured as it looks 👏). Then we came in with the layers—a new rug, curtains, lamp, accent pillows and a deep navy throw to pull it all together.

Same bed. Same room.
Completely different energy.

It feels tailored, masculine, collected and just a little unexpected—which is exactly what we wanted.

And this is why we love styling sessions: you don’t always need a room full of new furniture to completely transform a space.

Swipe for the BEFORE. ➡️

WILD HORSES COULDN’T DRAG ME AWAY 🐎

When it came to designing our own bedroom, we didn’t want calm, quiet or predictable.

We wanted distinct. Sexy. Moody. A little wild. And FUN.

The inspiration?
“Wild horses couldn’t drag me away.”

We drenched the room in this deep, delicious burgundy, took the curtains wall to wall for maximum drama, layered in custom pillows, oversized horse art, and then built the entire room around a rug that absolutely refused to be ignored.

And that rug? Three months. 😂
Three months of waiting and wondering if we had completely lost our minds.

Turns out… worth every single day.

The black bed grounds all that color, the horse art gives the room its soul, and the unexpected mix of burgundy, hot pink, blue, green and red keeps the whole thing from taking itself too seriously.

Because moody doesn’t have to mean boring.
And grown-up bedrooms don’t have to be beige.

Sometimes you just need to go a little wild. 🐎❤️

Wild horses couldn’t drag us away from this one.

PLAYROOM… but make it guest-ready. 🤠✨

This moodboard is proof that a room can be fun for the kids without looking like a toy store exploded. 😂

We’re mixing playful pattern, a little Western whimsy, warm earthy color, great art, cozy texture—and plenty of storage to hide allllll the things.

And when guests roll into town? The sofa pulls double duty and suddenly this playful little space is ready for grown-ups too.

Kid approved. Guest worthy. Design obsessed.
That’s our kind of multipurpose room. 🧡

OUR FEED IS REAL. And we think that matters. 🤍

In a world where you can generate a picture-perfect interior in seconds, we want you to know something about ours:

Every room you see here actually exists.

These are real homes.
Real businesses.
Real clients.
Real budgets.
Real awkward walls and tricky floor plans.
Real furniture we carried through real doorways. 😂
Real art we hung. Real shelves we styled. Real transformations we created with our own hands.

There’s nothing wrong with using technology for inspiration—but when you’re choosing someone to transform your actual home, we believe you should be able to see what they’ve actually done.

Our feed isn’t filled with imaginary rooms designed to stop your scroll.

It’s our portfolio.

It represents years of creating, sourcing, building, installing, styling, problem-solving and occasionally standing across the room saying, “Move that lamp two inches to the left.” 😜

We’re proud of that.

So when you see a beautiful room on our page, know that somewhere nearby, someone is actually living in it.

And we think real creativity is still worth celebrating.

Real homes. Real people. Real interiors.
Always.

✨ THE POWER OF THE FINAL LAYER ✨

This is exactly why we say a room doesn’t always need to be completely redone — sometimes it just needs to be finished.

The bones of this primary bedroom were already beautiful: soaring ceilings, gorgeous architecture and substantial furniture. But the room felt a little quiet, disconnected and unfinished.

We came in and layered in new lighting, rugs, chairs, textiles, art and accessories — and suddenly the entire space came alive.

The rug brought in warmth and pattern.
The leather chairs created an intimate sitting area.
New lighting took advantage of those incredible ceilings.
Art introduced personality and color.
And the final layers of pillows, plants and accessories pulled everything together.

Same room. Same major furniture. Completely different feeling.

This is what interior styling is all about. You don’t always need a house full of new furniture or a massive renovation. Sometimes you simply need the right eye to see what’s missing — and know exactly what to add.

That’s where we come in. ❤️
