Today, Broadway Exchange got to be something a little more than a shop. 🤍

A regular customer reached out and asked if he could use our magical little space as the backdrop for his sister’s bridal portraits…

And our answer was an immediate “YES. What can we do?”

Because what better way to see a space you’ve poured your heart into than through the light of a memory like this? ✨

Watching a bride-to-be wander through Broadway, surrounded by all the beautiful, storied things that make this place what it is, felt like such a full-circle kind of moment.

We built Broadway to be a place where people could find things, celebrate things, gather, wander, and make memories.

So getting to be a tiny part of this memory?

That’s the good stuff. 🤍

A little bit of Broadway magic made it onto the evening news. ✨

A huge thank you to 21 WFMJ for stopping by our Grand Celebration, capturing our ribbon cutting, and taking the time to tell the story of this very special old building and all the little businesses that now bring it to life. 🤎

There’s something pretty magical about watching an old place find a new purpose.

What was once an empty building is now filled with treasures, tiny businesses, big dreams, creative people, and so many reasons to wander through the doors.

And getting to celebrate that with our vendors, our community, the City of Salem, and everyone who has helped bring Broadway back to life made the day even sweeter.

We’re so grateful you came along for a little piece of the story, WFMJ. ✨

✨ A magical day spent at Broadway Exchange. ✨

Yesterday was more than a grand celebration. It was a celebration of a dream, a community, and an old building brought back to life.

And somehow, we’ve found ourselves in a full-circle moment. 🤎

Four years ago, on this very same downtown strip, I stood inside a much smaller building with our current landlord, Joe, wondering if it might be where my little business would grow. Things didn’t quite line up, and that led us to our Magnolia location in Columbiana. Little did we know…

And now? Four years later, we’re here.

It almost feels like this space on Broadway was waiting for us. ✨

From the beginning, my business has been rooted in a love for small businesses, shopping locally, historic places, old things, and community. Three years of building, dreaming, growing, and connecting have somehow led us to a space that feels like a true reflection of everything we love.

And that’s exactly what we’ve done here: brought a building back to life.

To our incredible family of vendors, our community, the City of Salem, County Commissioners, Port Authority, SOD Center and DSP, Joe, our hardworking contractors, and the many, many people who poured their time, talent, and heart into this project—thank you. 🤎

It took a village to make this happen, and we are endlessly grateful.

Four years ago, we were wondering where the journey would take us.

Yesterday, we got to stand inside the answer.
