Steampunk Menagerie by In The Beginning Fabrics
Fabric designer, Jason Yenter meticulously created each jungle animal with exquisite detail and then combined them to create a stunning panel. Portraits of the peacock, giraffe, elephant, zebra, owl and bear were used to create a second large panel. The border print takes on an underwater view with a steampunk octopus, whale and a variety of fish all visible through elaborate portholes. The coordinating prints of gears, clocks, rusted metals, rivets, pipes, and maps help reinforce the overall steampunk look.
Collection includes large panel, a panel of portrait blocks, border print and several coordinating prints.

Wonders of the Ocean, by In The Beginning Fabric beautifully showcases sea creatures and sea shells in an almost glowing royal blue, periwinkle, teal and seaweed green. The intricate designs in each sea creature or sea shell gives a tribal or tattoo look to the collection and the vibrant colors, shadow effects and patterns create a sense of movement.
The collection contains a panel with 9 individual squares, each approximately 13" square and each featuring a different sea creature of sea shell, a wide border print, and 8 coordinating fabrics.
As with most of Jason Yenter's designs, this fabric is too beautiful to describe adequately and must be seen in person to truly capture the gorgeous colors and unbelievable detail.

About the Designer:
Nancy Rose lives surrounded by nature in Nova Scotia, Canada. She grew up in a large family where creativity was always encouraged, and when she wasn’t teaching, she was crafting. In 2010 she discovered the curiosity of the little North American Red Squirrels who raided the bird feeders in her backyard. By making squirrel-size props, she has created hundreds of scenarios where the inquisitive squirrels find themselves in some rather human-like poses as they search for peanuts. Gradually the “secret life” of her backyard squirrels emerged. Her first “actor”, Mr. Peanuts, has been followed by many more who come daily for peanuts and sunflower seeds. Sometimes she gets a good shot right away, but more often it takes hundreds of photos to get a clearly focused shot that tells the story Nancy has in her head. In 2013 the squirrel photos went viral. They have been featured in media around the world and the squirrels now star in four childrens books from Little, Brown Young Readers and in calendars and board books for Workman Publishing.
Perfect for quilts, tote bags, wall hangings, backpacks and all kinds of other projects.
