After careful consideration, the Clarke family has agreed to sell Waters & Brown to our friends at Home Decor Group.

Our family is forever grateful, thankful, and honored to have owned and operated Waters & Brown for over half a century. Ever since our father Don and uncle Ed purchased Waters & Brown in 1969, the North Shore community has supported us and our business dreams. Words can’t express how much we’ve enjoyed helping you design, paint, hang, and decorate all your wonderful homes in our community.

Thank you to all our incredible employees, friends, and family who were with us over the years. We could not have possibly done any of this without your enthusiasm and commitment to make Waters & Brown a very special place. We are very proud of what we all built together and are grateful for the amazing memories we get to hold onto.

While the decision to step away is a tough one, it is much easier knowing that we are passing Waters & Brown over to the Tapper family at Home Décor Group, another fantastic family-owned business on the North Shore. There’s no doubt in our minds that the Tapper family will support your paint & decorating needs to the level you have come to expect and deserve.

Both the Salem and Beverly Waters & Brown locations will become part of Home Décor Group’s network of stores (including locations in Peabody, Swampscott, Gloucester, Lynn, Chelsea, Wellesley, Natick and Framingham). Our fantastic team will also be staying on and continuing to serve you at the Salem and Beverly locations.
