Just in ~ New Ombré Turkmen Collection

The artistry behind our Ombré Turkmen Collection draws from a wide range of influences — including Persian Sultanabad carpets, Turkmen Baluchi designs of the Timani tribe, and motifs inspired by the Moghul Empire.

What makes these rugs unique is the use of multiple dye batches and the individual weavers’ decision to change colors within the same pattern. In a traditional carpet, a motif— such as a tree branch— would usually remain one color throughout. In these ombre rugs, the colors shift within the motif itself and throughout the background of the carpet. This use of abrash creates another dimension within the design, where the variation in color adds depth and brings out entirely new layers in the pattern.

From early-morning hunts to rain-soaked afternoons under the tent, this week at the Brimfield Flea Market was one to remember.

We spent the week both behind the booth with a selection of vintage rugs handpicked by Ben & Jeff, and out in the fields - hunting for rare finds. Even with the rainy weather, the market was full of energy and moments that reminds us why we love doing this

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our tent, shared stories, shopped our latest vintage rug collection, or simply said hello. We left Brimfield inspired, a little muddy, and already counting down the days until the next Brimfield.
