Antiques by the Market opened on 'Black Friday', November 27, 2009, and has operated 7 days a week for 10 years in our location at 3 W. Main Street in downtown Salem VA.

We are announcing here that we are retiring and will close the store at the end of December, 2019.

At this time, we would like to thank our loyal customers for their business and friendship over the years. We appreciate you and will miss seeing you.

Also, our success is also very much attributed to the best dealers any antique mall could want. They have continually searched out the best merchandise at great prices to offer to our customers. The comments and compliments the store received has proven this. We have become like family working together over the 10 years and for that we are grateful. Thank you.

Please come visit us and take advantage of price reductions that have already begun. Don't miss out on that special item you have been thinking of for yourself. Now is the time!

Just arrived at Antiques by the Market is this stunning Schonbek Swarovski crystal chandelier. It has 9 candelabra lights plus nine more In the crystal waterfall base and yet another down light in the center. The colors refracted by the light on this is amazing!

Also new is this pair of crystal wall sconces with beautiful spear pendant drops. They are shown with a large octagon Venetian mirror. What a beautiful set for a hallway, bath or mantel!
