BIRDS TRAPPED IN THE EYE 🌀🐦 Hurricane Hunters and Doppler Radar have confirmed that there are birds trapped in the eye of right now because the winds are too strong in the eyewall. As a result, they stay within the calmer eye until reaching land. In this image, the blue colors are birds, the red color is rain. Unfortunately not all birds survive due to exhaustion, starvation or even drowning, but most do...especially depending on the type of bird. Landfall is this evening, so they just have to hold on for a little bit longer!

Our thoughts and prayers are with our friends and neighbors in Walhalla this morning following the devastating fire on Main Street last night.

We are a close-knit community here in the Golden Corner. We will grieve together, support one another, and rebuild together. Please be in prayer for our fellow businesses who suffered loss and help where you can.

Bigger than Wednesday's wave, and this time it is over the Ohio Valley. Chicago, Indianapolis, Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati, Nashville, Birmingham.

They ride the north wind behind the cold front. Last night 69 million crossed Wisconsin and 53 million crossed Illinois.

Turn off the porch light tonight. Lit windows pull them off course and into glass.

Step outside after 10 and listen.
