Special experiences shouldn’t require shoes, traffic, or reservations 👀

This unused dining room used to sit quietly in the background, waiting for a reason to matter. Now it hums with classic records, game-day energy, and the slow pour of whiskey into something well-earned.

Our clients both work in high-level leadership roles from home, and they wanted a place to land after long days, to host friends without leaving the house, and to gather with family in something warmer than formal dining ever offered. So we transformed it into an in-home bar and lounge built around their life: vinyl spinning, Dodgers and Beavs on in the background, glasses clinking over conversation that runs late on purpose.

There’s an art to refreshing your home, and it doesn’t always have to mean construction zones and starting from scratch.

If this sunny weather has you feeling restless, here are a few things you can do this weekend to ease into the perfect spring refresh.

1. Take an honest look at your space.
What isn’t making you feel good anymore? Old pillows you’ve held onto too long, a console table that’s seen better days, artwork that no longer excites you? Trust your gut and swap it out for something that actually feels fresh.

2. One new piece can change everything. A new sofa makes the biggest statement, but don’t underestimate a well-chosen accent chair or side table. Sometimes a single addition is all a space needs to feel grounded again.

3. When in doubt, switch out the fabrics. Towels, throw blankets, rugs, accent pillows—swapping these out can shift the whole feel of a room without a significant investment.
