We’re proud to be one piece of Marion County’s Alternative Programs, a long-standing initiative focused on building accountability, job skills, and brighter futures for youth — all while giving back to our community.
💚 Our Mission:
To provide youth accountability, community service, restitution to victims, and employment skills — all for the benefit and safety of the community.
Since 1979, Alternative Programs have created meaningful opportunities for youth to:
🛠️ Learn real job skills through hands-on work
🌱 Give back through community service projects
💵 Earn and pay restitution to victims
🌿 Gain experience in areas like woodworking, metal work, landscaping, and greenhouse operations
From maintaining gardens and greenhouses 🌼 to building structures, crafting wood and metal items, and even helping operate the Fresh Start Market & Espresso — these young individuals are actively working toward positive change.
