Best compliment I’ve received so far about my crochet happened last night by a 4th grade young man…
he goes: “do you have anything else for $3?”
my response: “unfortunately no, just the fidgets. My other stuff is kind of expensive :/“
the gem of a human snaps back with: “oh of course, but it makes sense because these take you a LONG time!!!”
Me: 🥹😭😳
…Like, c’mon— a 4th grader gets ‘it’ and has an appreciation towards my art. You have no idea how impressed I was by his outlook- good job to his mom for growing him well. Him, his sister, and I had a lovely chat!

Okay okay okay. 😅 Post setting up and being sweaty did not make for the most glorious looking Emily 😂🤷🏼‍♀️🫶🏼 NONETHELESS, so grateful to join Shore Acres and be a part of their movement for a few weeks. Looking forward to being back next week!!! ((Lowkey love watching the soccer games happening in the background- nostalgic!!))
