Arts & Artisans continues to be closed this week while I learn and celebrate traditions of Wyandotte Nation. Today I made a spoon out of a horn!

Get ready for next week as we gear up for the trifecta of upcoming holidays! On Tuesday we will make bowl cozies. This class is free thanks to fabric donations! Wednesday we will make some wrapped yarn rainbows! The class will be only $10 per person, and we will have a limit of 6 spots available. Thursday will be potpourri jars for only $5 per jar! We will paint a wooden pumpkin on Friday night for another $5 class. Saturday's kid-friendly class is air-dry clay sculptures.

Arts & Artisans is an Indigenous-owned business. I am in Oklahoma this week, celebrating Wyandotte Nation, practicing the language, culture, and traditions of our tribal nation, learning our proud history, and learning some of our arts. Today I learned how to weave beadwork on a heddle loom!

Ok, that's enough drama. However, tomorrow is your last chance to get fabric or a DIY craft kit until September 15. The shop will close tomorrow (Saturday) at 6 PM, and will be closed for a week. We will reopen at 4:00 on Tuesday, September 15, for open crafting and our free community craft night.

Part of the joy of owning a Cricut or Cameo is getting to make personalized gifts for friends and loved ones! Friday evening, 6-8 PM, start your Christmas shopping by creating something special! We have all sorts of blanks - insulated cups, mugs, water bottles, coasters, ornaments, make up bags, pencil pouches, tote bags, and more! You can even bring your own blanks! Cost of the class is only $10 per person, plus the cost of any blanks you use. This is a great way to learn about cutting vinyl and iron-on with a Cricut! Vinyl, iron-on, Cricut machines and mats are provided. A variety of blanks will also be available for sale.
