Just finished restoring this gorgeous 14-foot solid pine farm table for a customer’s beach house! The hand-rubbed finish truly brought out the natural beauty and rich character of the wood.

Brought this home from last weekend's picks, and videos honestly don't do it justice. It's a large antique folk art carved wooden eagle featuring rich layers of historic paint, old period repairs, and faint traces of original gold leaf that catch the light in person. The back shows the exact same deep-seated age and patina as the front. (video in comments) When a piece speaks to you like it did me. I found a way to bring it home.

A huge 19th c. cast iron eagle from a historic Talbot co MD estate. This big guy was not fun to load but impressive nonetheless. Anybody that knows me, knows I have a thing for eagles. My lower back was telling me that it looks fine just sitting on the tailgate for now. 😂

Hi everyone!
A quick heads-up on reaching us by phone: Between shop dead zones, loud machinery, and being out on the road, I don't always catch incoming calls (and out-of-state calls often get sent straight to spam!).

If I miss your call, please leave a voicemail so I know to reach back out—otherwise, I won't have a record to return the call.

You’re also welcome to text us anytime, which is usually the easiest way to get a quick reply!

Effective immediately, written insurance estimates will require a deposit, which will be 100% credited toward your final repair or refinishing bill. We’re making this update to protect our shop’s time while continuing to provide detailed, accurate documentation for your claims.

Please note that all of our regular, non-insurance estimates are still completely FREE of charge.

We love helping our clients, but we’re strictly a furniture refinishing shop! If you need a piece of wood furniture brought back to life, you’re in the right place. But if you’re calling to strip ceramic off a bathtub or polish copper pots... we're definitely not your crew. Going forward, we’ll only be returning inquiries for wood furniture projects so we can stay focused at the workbench!
