3 Frugal Home Cleaning Hacks I SWEAR By🙊🧼
I’ve tried my best recently to not spend a lot of money on cleaning products and try to get things that will last for a long time so l don’t need to constantly be buying new cleaning items!
Buying things in bulk and using either cleaning tools or household items you already have (baking soda & vinegar) is what has been easiest for me! I love to see what I can use that’s already in my home for frugality and to make my life easier!

Before using plants inside & outside my home it didn’t feel as cozy and something was missing. After I got plants inside and started growing outside plants everything changed!

First off I felt more purposeful in my home because I actively had to take care of the plants to make my home beautiful! It helped boost my serotonin seeing my plants thrive and sometimes grow beautiful flowers!

I also felt like plants either supported decor already there or were their own perfect centerpiece of decor.

They are so versatile and work with any decor! If you’re wanting to make your home feel more cozy then add some plants! 🌱

5 things I clean weekly to avoid $$$ repairs later 🧼

I know most of these people are cleaning weekly anyway BUT I wanted to share my tips for getting them extra clean and for how they actually help save you time & money in the long run.

All the areas of our home need so much care so they can serve us to the best of their abilities. Cleaning and proper care give spaced & items in your home the ability to perform the best & longest they can!

When I’ve taken the time to really deep clean and care for my home, l’ve noticed we have less breakdowns or issues that need to be fixed. Such as our dryer, if we didn’t take the lint out regularly, it might be broken or need to have been replaced months ago. But because I take 10 minutes every week to clean out all the lint I can, it’s been able to perform amazing! Even though it was the cheapest dryer we could find!

And cleaning your drains will always save you so much headache later. They’ll never clog and you’ll never have to call a plumber to take out pipes just to clean them! So that’s a huge money saver too!🎉

Home propaganda I’m NOT falling for this year!!!

There’s a LOT of home propaganda I see change and come up monthly. Especially with home content being most of what I consume. And there is so much that just isn’t needed or can make us all feel inadequate because we aren’t keeping up with the “trends”.
Trust me, you don’t need to follow what anyone else is doing online, just do what works for you and what makes you happy! Because it’s YOUR home! You live there and should make it feel like you
I’ve found especially with design choices, going the thrifting or antique route is always cheaper and more fulfilling in the long run. You get something unique and feel like you found an amazing treasure to showcase in your home. And it will have a cute story behind it
I also think color is such an important thing to have in homes that is kind of being lost. We should use more colors to express ourselves in our home. Colors make us feel something, which is why I love to have pops of color in my home and have realized the white & grey trend is NOT IT!

Just posting some little reminders for those who are stressed about their home. A home can be whenever you find love & peace to be yourself.

Don’t worry about making your home look like a mansion or a space that is “perfect”. A lot of us struggle to find a safe space we can call home. So if you have love and peace, that’s all you need for a home. And others who live there will feel at home as well, no matter what home looks like for you! 🏠❤️

Last summer I took many hours to fix up this backyard from having a ton of w**ds to being a sanctuary for my dog, my husband, my friends & family, and ME!

I absolutely love coming out here, just relaxing, taking care of my plants and spending time with loved ones❤️

The biggest lesson I learned while remaking this backyard was to take the time to do it right! And to do it well, don’t cut corners!

I made the fire pit and other gravel areas and I’ve had to re-put down w**d covers because I didn’t do a well enough job the first time. It was a disaster🫠

Also your outdoor areas will always need care and work weekly to be maintained! It goes way beyond mowing a lawn. Making sure items are still in good shape, killing w**ds, and taking care of plants take up my time everyday. But I love it because I get to be outside🤗

Most of my furniture I didn’t hand make I bought off Facebook marketplace or got from thrift stores! So overall this whole project was super cheap compared to getting a contractor to landscape your backyard. If you have time and resources it’s totally doable and worth it!🏠

It’s been hard for me to accept these in the past few months. But l’ve come to learn that most organizing products are not needed.

There are plenty of ways to organize our home without having to go buy $100s of dollars in products.

Don’t get me wrong, I think they can be super cute and very helpful in some spaces and for some lifestyles!❤️

But I don’t have money to just buy bins to fit everything I own. And I prefer to reuse what I have.♻️

I don’t always have this opinion, but since owning my own home l’m realizing buying the next new home organizing product is NOT sustainable!
