I’m still taking commissions! It’s been an extremely busy year for me and my time to draw and paint has been greatly reduced. However, I recently had the privilege to draw this father with his Savior. Some people will be celebrating Christmas this year without all their loved ones. I pray for you all and I hope the joy of Christmas helps to comfort and heal your aching hearts!

I prefer to use my own reference photos when I paint… so we take a family hike with the sheds and try to get some awesome pictures. The best part is being in the mountains with my family… the worst part is explaining to EVERY hiker we pass on the trail that I did NOT just find this Moose shed😆

So I’m kind of obsessed with antlers. I think they’re magnificent and beautiful! I’ve always dreamed of stumbling upon a shed when I go hiking so I’m constantly scanning the ground for antler sheds. Maybe one day I’ll find one, until then, I’ll paint them !

Pretty excited about my new addition to my Easter/Spring decorations! It’s a simple yet powerful reminder that God and His Son love each one of us. Sparrows are tiny and fly in huge numbers. They often seem too small to be noticed individually. Yet Christ is aware of each one. We are like a sparrow sometimes and seem to feel like we get lost in the flock and or feel insignificant. The fact is, even if you were the only person on earth, Jesus would still have come to save you and die for just you! I hope you feel that truth when you look at this painting. And the greatest miracle is that He lives today! Happy Easter season my friends! This is available for print!

I made this painting to represent how much God and His Son, Jesus Christ, love each one of us… even if we feel as small and insignificant as a sparrow. In the Bible, Matthew 12:29 reads “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.” The scars that Christ bares on his hands and wrists were for you. As we approach Easter, please remember that God knows you and your worth is great to Him!
