My journey with ceramics began in high school, and blossomed into a full-fledged passion from 2017 to 2019. It was during this time that I discovered the captivating world of pottery and the immense satisfaction of transforming clay into beautiful, functional and nonfunctional objects. After taking a ceramics class in college, I continued to explore this art form on and off, eventually returning t

o it in 2023. Over the past six years, I've been fortunate to learn from a multitude of talented artists and professors, many with Master of Fine Arts degrees in ceramics. I was given the opportunity to continue playing college sports I reached a point where I needed a new out in life. A way that I could express myself and create objects that all can appreciate and enjoy. Choosing ceramics allowed me to truly invest in my artistic development and discover new avenues for creative self-exploration. Today, my passion for ceramics burns brighter than ever. I strive to create unique, handmade pieces that not only delight the eye but also spark thought and conversation. Each piece is a culmination of my experiences, inspirations, and technical expertise.

I pulled this out of the kiln at 1200° and immediately put horse hair on top. The lines are carbon smoke trails from the horsehair being burnt onto the dish.
