We are incredibly honored to be joining the Chief McIntire Thunder Run on Saturday, September 12th in Sarver. 💙🇺🇸

This is so much more than just another event for us. It’s a day to come together, support our community, honor our first responders, and remember a fallen officer whose sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Gramma’s House Goods will be set up with LOTS of homemade goodies! 🤍

🍞 Full-size & mini sourdough loaves

I’ve been baking, canning, freezing, planning and stocking up for this one, and I cannot wait to have the table filled. 🥹

🏍️ A little tip for our bikers: If you’re planning to take some canned goodies home, toss a hoodie, towel or something soft into your saddlebag before you come. It’ll give those glass jars a little cushion for the ride home!

Everyone loves seeing those picture-perfect sourdough loaves with all the flavors oozing out of them, sparkling jars of home-canned jam, pickles and all the things thinking it’s a peaceful simple hobby, calming and serene, don’t forget the aesthetically pleasing kitchens (the girls will get that) 💁🏼‍♀️🫠

Then there is my kitchen reality 🌪️ Behind that one "pretty" photo is me, a nurse, who already logged 40+ hours for the week with a hour and a half commute round trip, who survived the usual endless life happenings that just keep on growing that I’m so thankful for it being part of my journey, the time spent at weekend events either watching the mud fly 🛻 and trying to help Saxon the best I can even if I find my own lingo to all the truck parts cause let’s face it, I am me, but I try lol and still decide to look at a pile of flour and say, "Bet, I can handle more chaos." 🫠

My current kitchen aesthetic is best described as "baking explosion meets canning tornado." There is flour on the floor, ceiling, my bed, Gunners nose, who knows lol, sticky bowls multiplying in the sink to where I just look and stare “why did I do this.” Canning rings hiding in weird places, and mud from the truck somewhere in the mix. 🛻💨

But honestly? I wouldn’t trade it. There is so much joy to be found right here in the mess. It is proof of a full, loud, crazy creative life—even if my feet are completely numb. If anyone needs me, this week I’ll be livin this crazy life some more with some baking, canning, planning, and driving Saxon nuts. Drop a 🥧, 🩺, or 🛻 if your life is beautifully chaotic right now too!

🌿 A little update from Gramma’s House Goods…

Since it’s been a minute, a busy few weeks behind the scenes & also taking a little time to enjoy the summer around here.. ❤️

The kitchen has been full of flour, sourdough, and lots of recipe making and testing 😮‍💨💗

I finally made another batch of my Strawberry Cheesecake Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls, and they were every bit as good as I had hoped, if not better than the first batch! Saxon approved 😍🫶🏼. (Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of them finished cause we couldn’t wait to try one 😂)

Pepper Jelly will be back on the line up, as well as fresh batches of salsa, pickles, bbq, and some unique recipes coming that I can’t wait to share with you.

I’m also getting ready to stock the stand with more sourdough favorites:

🍫🍌 Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana (a brand-new flavor!)

I’m slowly building inventory for the stand & for an upcoming fall event, and I can’t wait to share everything with you.

🥒 The cukes are coming in hot 🌿

I picked this basket of cucumbers, which means another round of homemade pickles is on the way!

This week I’m hoping to stock the shelves back up with some favorites like Blueberry Vanilla Jam, new pickle flavors, fresh baked goodies, and maybe even another batch of salsa or bruschetta 🤤

There’s something so rewarding about watching the garden finally start giving back after all the work that goes into it.

Thank you all for supporting this little dream of mine. Every jar, loaf, and cinnamon roll helps me keep growing Gramma’s House Goods. ❤️🌾
