On May 16th in Saluda, North Carolina…the Saluda Arts Festival is the perfect place to browse the works of some of the very best local artists in Western North Carolina and “support local” while doing so! Held along Historic Main Street in downtown Saluda, this 21st annual event runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm and brings together over 90 artists from across the Carolinas. You can walk booth to booth viewing and buying paintings, pottery, woodwork, jewelry, glass, and more, all handmade and one of a kind. Live music fills the air all day at the Ella Grace Mintz stage with folk, blues, and Americana sounds. Kids can enjoy face painting, balloon art, and hands-on fun at the Children’s Tent. Street performers add even more to see throughout the day. Food is easy to find with local cafés and vendors serving up great eats. Free parking and a shuttle run all day, making it simple to enjoy everything.
