During my break I attended a four-day flower retreat in OKC, where I learned all the things, like creating fun wearable art (peep the headpiece💅🏼)I know I said vacation, but flower trips count right?!🤭

It never fails that when this day comes, I wonder what it would have been like to know you better; for you to be here through the ups and downs, to see your family grow and everything we’ve built.
Even the short time of having you with us is so deeply ingrained in my memories, if only there could have been time for more. I think we both would have loved trips to the craft store and laughing when we ended up wearing matching shirts. But more than anything…
Grandma, I hope I make you proud, proud of the woman that your daughter raised, when she had no choice but to walk that journey without you.
You gave me the best Momma, and I can only imagine how wonderful you were because of the void you left behind.
