Did you know? A mirror placed across from a window can effectively double the natural light in a room. 🪞☀️

It's one of the oldest tricks in interior design and one of the most underused. In smaller bedrooms especially, a well-placed mirror makes the space feel bigger, brighter, and more open without changing a single piece of furniture. ✨

The statement piece that makes every guest stop and say "okay but where did you GET that." 🤩

The best homes have at least one thing that's completely unexpected. One piece that breaks every rule and somehow makes the whole room work better because of it. ✨

September energy: pretending you're going to meal prep every Sunday now that summer is over. 🍎

The kitchen is ready. The barstools are pulled up. The cutting board is out. Whether the meal prep actually happens is between you and your conscience. 😄

The homes that feel the most alive are the ones that actually look like someone lives there. 🌿🎶

A sofa in a color you love. A shelf full of records. A plant that's slightly out of control. Art that makes people ask questions. There's no formula for a home that has personality. You just have to let it be yours.

What's the most "you" thing in your home right now? ✨

Thinking about a dining table upgrade? Here's the question most people forget to ask first: how many do you actually need to seat? 🪑

The general rule is 24 inches of table space per person for comfortable seating. So a 6-foot table comfortably seats 6. An 8-foot table seats 8. Going smaller saves floor space but means tight elbows at every holiday dinner.

Measure before you fall in love with a table!

September has this way of making you want to slow down and actually be home. 🍂

The light changes. The pace shifts. And suddenly the dining room table feels less like furniture and more like the center of everything again. Sunday dinners, homework at the table, coffee before the chaos starts.

What's your favorite thing about being home in the fall? 🏡

Here's something worth knowing about accent walls: the texture matters just as much as the color. 🎨

A painted accent wall adds color. A textured one, whether it's limewash, plaster, wallpaper, or even a bold fabric headboard, adds depth. Depth is what makes a room feel designed rather than just decorated.

This bedroom is a great example of how one intentional wall can anchor an entire space. ✨

Small space? Make it the most intentional square footage in the house. 🐾✨

A little desk tucked in a corner, a chair with personality, a lamp that actually sets a mood, and one piece of art that makes you smile every time you walk by. That's it. That's the whole formula.

Small doesn't have to mean boring. It just means every choice matters more. 🙌
