She is at it again! Brittany Sustin is unstoppable and has the biggest heart. She is running in the 24 In 24 for the second time since I’ve known her. I don’t know how a NON-RUNNER has so many RUNNER friends but I guess the crazy brings us together. She has almost met her goal of $2K. If you can help the link is in the bio. WHY I’M RUNNING
As a pediatric oncology social worker, I have the privilege of walking beside families during some of their most vulnerable moments. Many days I leave wondering, What more can we do? How can we make this better? I don’t yet have those answers, and I hold onto the hope that one day we’ll live in a world where pediatric cancer no longer exists. Every day, I am humbled by the strength of our patients and honored to support them and their families. Participating in the 24 in 24 motivates me because it allows me to contribute to making our patients’ lives a bit more magical.
