What a fabulous remodeling project with the best customers! We designed and selected materials for every inch of this remodel in beautiful old Shavano. Thanks to Kevin Ayres and his incredible team at Ayres Custom Works, this job was done and dusted in only 6 months!

The Rogers renovated their home 21 years ago, giving it a Tuscan look popular at the time, but recently transformed it into a modern space.

From dark and cramped to light and spacious! ✨💁‍♀️ The original kitchen was narrow with a layout (including a small breakfast room) that limited work space and storage. We bumped out the original refrigerator wall to be flush with the breakfast room window wall allowing us to add tons more storage and a giant island! New iron windows and door wash this new gourmet kitchen with light. ✨✨✨

Every space needs that one special touch that makes it unique and memorable🥰 Antique mirror inserts (instead of glass) in the upper cabinets as well as a beautiful brass band on the vent hood was the icing on the cake in this beautiful kitchen. The mirrors add a sparkle and reflect the vibrant art in the home ✨🖼️🪞

Happy Monday! Our customer needed more kitchen pantry storage (who doesn’t?). Her existing pantry was the standard corner builder-grade pantry. So we reimagined the layout and absorbed her breakfast room bay window to create a new and expanded pantry. This new space is hidden behind “secret” cabinet doors so it looks like cabinetry extends all the way across the wall. 😍🏡✨ If you’re facing this same problem in your home, think outside of the box to create more pantry space. Think about incorporating part of adjacent rooms, enclosing a porch or patio, or even taking your cabinets to the ceiling to add vertical space. 🤗
