The kitchen at Waves + Roots, our Half Moon Bay coastal retreat, where every morning starts with that view and ends with everyone gathered around the island. Warm white oak, quartzite Bianco slab, organic pendants, and enough seating to fit the whole crew after a long day on the water.

We collaborated on this one from the ground up, and watching it come together was something special. Swipe to see the progress shots, from bare bones to this. Worth every decision.

One thing about Bear Valley, the landscape always ends up influencing the house. You start pulling colors from the trees, stone, dirt, sky… and suddenly the entire material palette is sitting right in front of you.

A lot of decisions being made out here lately. Testing greens, reviewing slabs, comparing finishes in different light, and trying very hard not to take home every stone sample we see.
