San Diego Estheticians Unite to Support LA Fire Victims
As we continue to witness the destruction caused by the wildfires in Los Angeles, we are reminded of the strength of our community. Thousands have lost their homes, their possessions, and sometimes, everything they’ve worked so hard to build. While the need for immediate relief is pressing, it’s also crucial to support survivors in more personal ways that go beyond monetary donations.
We, as Estheticians, have a unique opportunity to give back to those affected by the fires in a way that reflects the care and compassion our profession embodies. Even if you are not able to contribute financially. Everyone has an extra pair of jeans and a shirt.
How You Can Make a Difference
A warm shirt, a pair of jeans, and a jacket—these are the things that may seem simple to us, but for someone who has lost everything, they can make all the difference. Imagine the relief of being able to put on something comfortable and familiar after such a traumatic event. Your donation of gently worn clothes can offer comfort and restore a sense of dignity to someone who needs it most.
We're starting small, and our goal is to collect clothes—nothing fancy, just warm, practical items that can help those who’ve been affected by the fires.
