Can you overlay SPC on top of engendered glued down flooring?

Absolutely Not!! Moisture V***r emissions are alway passing through the slab and the wood. That’s why we are allowed to install hardwood as long as it measures 3lbs using the ASTM F1869. The hardwood can tolerate 3lbs of moisture v***r passing through it.
When you install LVP over the hardwood you are actually installing a v***r barrier on top of the hardwood. With that v***r having nowhere to escape, it stays in the wood, it swells the wood and blows off the slab.
