***WARNING***
To my esteemed colleagues in the catering profession,

I wish to share a critical cautionary note regarding the inherent risks associated with off-site catering engagements. It is imperative that we all exercise heightened vigilance and prioritize personal safety when working away from our established premises.

Saturday night into the early hours of Sunday morning, I experienced a deeply concerning incident during an off-site event. Following the complete consumption of all prepared food items. I was physically and verbally assaulted, held against my will by a group of 5. I was held for extortion/ ransom of a full refund.

Yes, a police report has been filed with the CVPD as that is where the incident happened, and SDPD as this is the city where I reside.

I was in such fear for my life.

Please be careful, out there.
