The heart of the home nourishes not only our body but also our mind and soul. We love seeing unique kitchens that reflect the owner's personality while still honoring the architecture and bones of the home. Our favorite ways to design kitchens, besides prioritizing functionality, of course, is to invest in quality natural materials, unexpected lighting, and adding furniture-like pieces to create a more comfortable, non-utilitarian feel.

If there's anything we've learned about how to make the most of interior design, it is to take our time when investing in key pieces. Rather than being swept away by the momentum of trends and Pinterest boards, be knowledgeable and educated about design, style, and sustainable sources. Be introspective and ask yourself what is the appeal and what are your intentions.

Nowadays, we have a dizzying array of options when it comes to selecting home furnishings and goods. What helps us narrow our focus is to keep our values (and those of our clients’) at the fore-front of all of our decision-making. We aim to source quality objects that have long-term value and partner with vendors with similar ethical and sustainable practices.

If you want to avoid having to renovate and redecorate your home every five or so years, invest in timeless pieces and incorporate design that will stand the test of time. 🀍
