Last Wednesday, August 19, our San Diego team came together for our annual summer event, and this year, there was an extra reason to celebrate: 20 years of Environmental Lights! 🎉

Held at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse on the beautiful San Diego harbor, the evening was made even more special by an incredible sunset and great company.

We were also delighted to welcome our founders, Greg and Anne Thorson, who shared their congratulations and a few stories from their time with the company. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on where we’ve been, celebrate what we’ve achieved together, and look forward to what’s ahead.

Here’s to 20 years of innovation, growth and lighting up possibilities!

Expanding Our Reach in the CEDIA Channel

We’re excited to announce that Environmental Lights has partnered with Phoenix Marketing Group (PMG) as our national manufacturer’s representative agency in the CEDIA and residential custom integration channel.

With deep expertise in architectural lighting, lighting controls, shading, and low-voltage systems, PMG brings a design-first approach and a strong network of dealers, specifiers, designers, architects, and integrators across the U.S.

Together, we’re making it easier to bring exceptional low-voltage lighting solutions to projects nationwide, with expert support from concept and specification through installation and final illumination.

“Lighting adoption in this channel is growing rapidly and partnering with Phoenix Marketing Group to bring this to a national stage with new relationships, as well as strengthen existing ones, will only further this adoption.”
— Jordan Brooks, President, Environmental Lights

We’re looking forward to working with PMG to empower our dealers, inspire the design community, and create new possibilities with light.

Yesterday, members of the Environmental Lights San Diego team had the opportunity to give back to our community by volunteering at the San Diego Food Bank

During their morning shift, they worked alongside fellow volunteers to bag and prepare fresh fruit for distribution to partner organizations across San Diego. Together, their shift helped prepare more than 8,500 pounds of fresh produce, helping ensure nutritious food reaches individuals and families in need throughout the region.

We’re grateful to the San Diego Food Bank San Diego Food Bank for the incredible work they do every day and for giving our team the chance to contribute to their mission. It’s always rewarding to come together outside the workplace and make a meaningful impact in our local community.

If you’d like to help support their mission, please consider making a donation:
