Hi, I'm Serena and if you are new here WELCOME 🫶

I am that girllll on insta who shares everything about jewelry making and doesn't hold back! I had a shop for over 8 years, am currently enrolled in jewelry classes myself to become a better jeweler (will be opening a new shop in Fall), and am a techy bishhh who loves to make videos. SOOO I combined all of this and created courses to teach you how to make jewelry!

I launched two courses back in January after a few years of working on them! They are made with SO much love and teach you how to make all the designs I sold in my shop! When I first created this account after closing my shop, my intention was really to share these designs so they could be remade and live on — I wanted to teach people with shops how to make these styles so they could sell them too. they sold so well and people loved them, so why not keep it going!

I have two courses based on what you want to create! My Introduction to Wire Wrapping covers wire wrapped earrings, necklaces, and more styles like that. My Introduction to Silversmithing is the next level — you're learning how to make rings, solder, and really take it up a notch!

What a weekend at the JCK Show ✨💎

Okay, here is the last bit of my weekend recap at the JCK show! We headed to the equipment and tech department, which was freaken HUGE, and got to explore all the amazing tools, supplies, tech, and so much stuff that goes into the jewelry making process. I was SHOCKED at how much is out there — from laser machines to jewelry polishers, the list just continues. 🤯

My favorite part of the day was connecting with my FAVORITE brands that I have been supporting and working with for YEARS. It was so cool to meet everyone in person and just create such strong relationships with companies I truly back. 💕

I left the show just feeling so inspired and so ready to level up as a jeweler. It really showed me the scope of what is possible as a jeweler and in this vibrant niche. There are so many possibilities, so many tools to play with, and SO MUCH TO LEARN.

Thank you JCK for having me at this incredible event — I will definitely be back next year! ✨

New to wire wrapping - save this post & follow for more tips 🫶

in this week's post I wanted to share a little guide showing you what wire gauges I use to make what in some of my favorite simple beginner friendly jewelry styles ✨

when I work with wire wrapping I always use a mix of 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 & 26 gauge wire. all these styles were created with some very affordable craft wire — or you can recreate these styles with precious wire like sterling silver or gold filled 🤭

I hope this little guide visually helps you see what wire gauges are used for what!

Why I closed my shop 🫶straight from zee heart

8 years. farmers markets, pop up shops, online sales, custom orders, all of it - and walking away was one of the hardest and best decisions I've ever made — but also the best. I like to talk about this and share my experience because I know there are lots and lots of handmade businesses who feel this! & you are not alone!!! If you are feeling this just trust I have been there, closed up shop, and made it out alive (& better then ever) I truly have never been so happier closing shop and pivoting to just sharing, teaching, and creating!

After a few years of space from selling I do have plans to open up a shop hopefully in fall! I'm thinking very small, high quality, intentional. done completely on my terms this time. Also, purely as a side hustle! Something creative and fun I can do (plus make some extra cash)!

I plan to share this journey with you and if you own a shop, make handmade things, or even wanna sell let's be friends! I know there are things we can connect on and learn from each other 💕
