With over two decades of experience in the world of wallcoverings and interior design, Gael’s Wallpaper has always been rooted in passion, artistry, and family. The journey began at Frazee Paints’ main branch, where Gael worked as the wallpaper specialist unti
l its closure in 2013. Just two months later, she opened Gael’s Wallpaper—bringing her expertise and love of design directly to San Diego. Her daughter Nichole, who grew up doing homework in the showroom and helping put away wallpaper books, is now her business partner, continuing the tradition of closeness and creativity. Nichole's son Chance has been part of the shop since his 2022 debut, affectionately nicknamed “the manager” by our customers for his joyful personality and occasional design input. Gael’s sister helped remodel the store when we moved to our Mission Valley location in 2023 and her second oldest son in Florida manages behind-the-scenes technical support. What We Offer
