Love my collectors.

A collector sent me this photo after adding these two pieces to their home alongside other paintings of mine.

There is something deeply meaningful about seeing the work continue its life in someone else’s space. Even more so when collectors return, connect again, and keep building with the work over time.

So grateful. Best job ever.

After the happy flurry of sales, visits, conversations, and a studio full of people during open studios, the resin paintings in this corner are staying up a little longer.

These works shift with light. The surface catches movement. The horizon lines change depending on where you stand.

This side of the studio is where the ocean, fog, memory, and California light keep having their say.

Day one… wow. I barely left the studio floor. In and out of the back room all day wrapping work, meeting new collectors, seeing familiar faces, and sending pieces off to new homes.

This is one that made it out the door today to a new collector.

I’ll be back at it tomorrow, and there’s still some beautiful pieces left… for now.

Grateful to have represent my work. From Eden’s newsletter: “Art transforms a room. Make a statement on each wall that will make your home full of light, color, calm and bring you joy each time you enter the room.

Thank you to everyone who opens this email and supports Secession Art & Design. It was a good challenge to reach out to you this season. Life looks a lot different these days. I kept the gallery open for 17 years, but had to pivot after Covid to support my family.

Currently, I am the director of a sweet preschool in Sebastopol. I get to spend my days being creative with two and three-year-olds. They fill my heart with love and laughter. I spend my afternoons with my 6-year-old son, chasing after his passions and activities (parkour and ice skating).

My hope for 2026 is to teach and supplement my career with client consultations, doing personal curating and continuing my online art collection.

P.S. Free delivery on art that is $500 or more. You can bundle smaller items to meet this minimum. I can open shipping after the holiday rush for clients that live farther away.
