One of the hardest things I’ve ever done wasn’t landing my first hotel.

It wasn’t pitching luxury clients.

It wasn’t completing 301 installs.

It was letting go of the identity that got me there.

We spend so much time trying to become successful that nobody really talks about what happens when you’re called into a new chapter.

The chapter where you’re no longer the beginner at one thing... but suddenly become the beginner at something else.

That’s uncomfortable.

Because beginners make mistakes.
Beginners don’t have all the answers.
Beginners don’t always get it right the first time.

But that’s also where growth lives.

A few years ago, I made the decision to shift from floral designer and hotel florist to educator, mentor, and coach. Looking back now, I can see that every opportunity I’ve created since then required me to release an old version of myself first.

If you’re in a season where you feel pulled toward something bigger but you’re terrified of starting over, this is your reminder that reinvention is part of the process.

And no, you don’t have to have it all figured out before you begin.
